Sometimes it's the simplest life hacks that make the biggest difference.

TikTok users have found a way to make life easier for home design buffs who love a good duvet set. Also known as the “roll-up method” or “burrito method,” the video shows how to easily change out your duvet cover without having to wrestle with your comforter or filling.

In one video, TikTok user Julie Sousa, known as @the_avantgarde, demonstrates how to use it: First, lay the comforter flat on your bed, or wherever you have space.

Next, you'll see Sousa attach the corners of the duvet cover to the duvet. Once secured, she rolls up the duvet like a burrito, from the bottom up.

Once the blanket is rolled up, she tucks it into the cover – close-up footage shows exactly how to do this trick – then she grabs one end of the blanket and shakes it to spread the comforter evenly, then simply lays it on a flat surface to smooth out any lumps.

“I've been burrowing inside myself this whole time 😅💀,” one commenter admitted.

Another commenter was amazed after trying this simple method, writing: “What kind of magic is this?”

“This is what I do. Some covers work better than others 🥰,” warned one commenter familiar with the method.

Another creator, @mama_mila_, agreed: “The 'burrito roll' duvet/comforter trick is a huge time saver – say goodbye to duvets getting lost in duvet covers and messy corners 👋.”

“Modern day magic,” added another commenter.
