Tyler, the Creator and Parachute's collaboration is a pastel dream

In 2017, VICE documented Tyler, the Creator's foray into furniture design for its web series Nuts + Bolts. Whether he worked with Herman Miller to build a custom Eames Lounger or enlisted a professional carpenter to revamp his bed setup, it's clear home design has always been on the artist's mind. “GOLF Home is the idea of making furniture and homewares,” he says in the video. Near the end of the episode, Tyler unboxes a floral bedding set by Parachute, a visual nod to his 2015 studio album. Cherry Bomb“I've been wanting to make bedding for four years,” he says, but couldn't believe his fans would be interested in flame-covered bedsheets.

Tyler may be moving away from his tongue-in-cheek graphics, Cherry Bomb The GOLF le FLEUR* x Parachute collection, which launched today, includes the same fluffy fabrics and pastel color combinations that any Tyler fan is familiar with. Ranging from $69 to $449, the eight-piece line features Parachute favorites, including linen bedding, fluffy throws, and accessories like shearling slippers.

According to Parachute founder Ariel Kay, Tyler has been a fan and supporter of Parachute for many years, and the collaboration was sparked after a surprise visit to the company's headquarters in California, where the CEO and the multi-talented man bounced ideas off each other and had initial discussions about what a partnership could look like. The rest is history.

World-class stage design If you're unsure, call me. Given Tyler's tours and flair for pastel apparel, the bedding color palette is perfectly on brand: if you're familiar with Tyler's innovations in the fashion and fragrance industries, it's no surprise that the linens come in soft hues of Geneva blue, blonde, and jade.

“Over the years, as we have evolved, our customers have gravitated towards more color and pattern. This is our boldest, most vibrant collection yet, and we can't wait for both the Parachute and le FLEUR* communities to enjoy this super fun assortment,” Ariel said in an email.
